Black Hen Music was started in Vancouver, Canada by award-winning producer and musician Steve Dawson in 1998. Black Hen is dedicated to producing music that is diverse, eclectic and that has some connection to roots music forms. Since its inception, Black Hen has released over 80 albums and continues to expand its roster.
